This paper explores the superposition of ultrasonic vibration on vertical rotating augers in a variety granular media. Ultrasonic is known to facilitate direct penetration media, and it anticipated that any related reduction torque requirements system might improve augering performance. Experimental results suggest that, compared non-ultrasonic scenario, ultrasonically assisted significantly promotes flow while moderately reducing required operate device. Furthermore, was discovered particle size, helix angle, auger speed all affect performance different ways as amplitude adjusted.
